Polish questions answered

When is one-step enough?

For light to moderate marks, Black-One and the Medium/One Step Pad can combine correction and gloss in one pass. A test spot shows whether the result is sufficient on your paint.

When should I choose two-step?

When stronger defects need more cutting first: Max Cut with a suitable cutting pad corrects the paint, then Perfect Finish with a finishing pad refines the result. Scratches extending through the clear coat cannot be repaired this way.

Can I use cutting or finishing alone?

Yes. Max Cut and Perfect Finish are available individually. Choose the polish under “View all”. For finishing alone, pair Perfect Finish with a suitable finishing pad.

Can I use other combinations?

Yes. Our system combinations are starting points. Match the pad and polish to paint hardness, machine and defects using a test spot. Add further stages only when the result requires them.
